DISTRIBUTION:

Dolbogene igualana (wingspan: males 51-56mm; females: 65mm) flies in Sonora, Mexico and
Guatemala southward through the dry forests of
Nicaragua: Managua, Granada; to
Costa Rica: Guanacaste.

FLIGHT TIMES:

ECLOSION:

Pupae probably wiggle to surface from subterranean chambers just prior to eclosion.

SCENTING AND MATING:

Females call in the males with a pheromone released from a gland at the tip of the abdomen.
