MIDI MUSICcopyright C. Odenkirk ON.OFF |
"Very similar to Callionima falcifera but smaller and with a paler, more uniform, less contrasting forewing and hindwing

"Forewing upperside with upper branch of silver spot thick and unbranched anteriorly; form of the pale oblique apical line, expanding at M1 into a pale patch,
identical to that in Callionima falcifera, ie, downward only, not back toward the apex along the outer margin.
"Dark patch on the anal area of the hindwing upperside brown, weakly developed (blackish and strongly developed in Callionima falcifera)." CATE
Larvae probably feed on members of the Apocynaceae (Dogbane) family: Aspidosperma macrocarpa .
