DISTRIBUTION:

Nyceryx draudti (wingpan: 67mm) flies in Peru, the specimen type locality, without a specified location. This species has been moved in and out of synonymity with stuarti. It now stands as a valid species as of 1996.

I can find no digital images of this species, but it would be very similar to stuarti.

FLIGHT TIMES:

Moths are probably on the wing in just about every month.

ECLOSION:

Adults eclose, usually within three weeks.

SCENTING AND MATING:

Females call in the males with a pheromone released from a gland at the tip of the abdomen.
